More recently, she has been involved in the charity/educational sector both as a governor of a secondary school, trustee of a nursery school, trustee of a grant-making foundation and now as a trustee of The Latin Programme. Simon Carr - Trustee

Simon has almost 30 years experience teaching Classics at secondary schools in England, 20 of which as Head of Department. He is currently teaching at Sevenoaks School, Kent, having previously taught at Goffs School, Cheshunt, Bath High School and Camden School for Girls. Throughout his career he has sought to promote the teaching of Classics in schools and he has worked with Cambridge University in the training of Classics teachers. Read more

Dr Richard Gilder - Founder and Trustee

Dr. Richard Gilder III received his MA in Classics from the Graduate Center of CUNY and his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. He has written two innovative Latin textbooks designed for the beginning and intermediate Latin student of any age: Via Facilis: Mastering Latin and Understanding Language and Via Non Difficilior: Deepening Our Mastery of Latin and Understanding of Language.
